MCPLA Meeting Minutes
February 7, 2017
Currie Park Club House

Meeting called to order at 6:30pm by President John Haeflinger. In attendance were officers
and directors representing the following MCPLA clubs:

Motion Made, seconded and carried to approve the minutes from the October 4, 2016 MCPLA meeting.

Checkbook Balance                   $14,394.11
The checkbook Is reconciled through February 1, 2017

Matt Ellis, PGA @ Greenfield GC welcomed in his first season
Andy Barrett, PGA @ Brown Deer GC 2016-2017 Wisconsin Merchandiser of the Year
Discussion/explanation regarding course improvements at MCPLA facilities
Explanation regarding new “Point of Sale” operation for Milwaukee Cnty. golf facilities
Brief discussion regarding status of proposed Brown Deer Park driving range
New dome at Currie Park scheduled to open for use November, 2017

42nd NIMAGA: Sept. 23 @ Evergreen GC. Tournament in jeopardy as NIMAGA may not be able to field team

Walls/Sliding Doors Under New Deck – Cost of $1,000.00
Motion made, seconded and approved to provide funding as proposed
Landscaping – Cost of $1,700.00 Motion made, seconded and rejected* to provide funding as proposed
*Following further discussion, Landscaping – Cost of $1,500.00

Old Business:
2016 MCPLA officers re-elected for 2017 season at October 4, 2016 Director’s Meeting

New Business:
2017 Golf Show, March 17-19, 2017
MCPLA members requested to be present at Milwaukee Cnty. Booth
Four hour participation during show hours
Sign-up sheet distributed

Motion made, seconded and approved to adjourn at 7:50 PM
